Storyline

Ik Besta Niet sheds light on the harrowing reality faced by undocumented and stateless young people in the Netherlands. The documentary follows the lives of Bubacar and Viktoria, who have both been living in the Netherlands without a residence permit since their teenage years. Their personal stories illustrate the daily struggles of people who are not recognised by the Dutch system. Despite these difficult circumstances, they still try to build a fulfilling life for themselves.
