Storyline

Eleven-year-old Anna feels insecure because she can't keep up in school. Her imagination is sparked when Grandpa Koos tells her about Charlie, the wondrous tree girl who was also different from other children. Anna's self-confidence grows when Grandpa Koos takes her on a journey that blurs the line between fantasy and reality.
