Watching: Alison Wheeler : La Promesse d'un soir

Overview

Her irreverence and unique style have been the highlight of her appearances on Canal+, France Inter, and the TMC show *Quotidien*. Now, Alison Wheeler is taking to the stage for the first time. Her show, *La promesse d’un soir* (The Promise of an Evening), offers a chance to get to know her on a more personal level. She opens up with a touch of eccentricity, unafraid to share the contradictions she embodies regarding the issues of the day—paradoxes that may well resonate with you. With plenty of self-deprecating humor, she dissects everything from the slightly awkward situations we have all experienced (or might experience) to the various societal pressures placed on women. In a world that often seems disenchanted, Alison Wheeler is determined to keep her promise: to treat us to an evening of irreverence.
